What is a Classic Door Kit?

We have specifically designed the Classic Door Kit to maximize the smooth and safe operation of our coop openers and to ensure your chickens are safe.

The rails are handcrafted from American white oak, which has been selected for its superior strength and durability in adverse weather conditions.

The rails can last 8 to 10 years without intermediate maintenance. For a longer life and a nicer look, it is recommended to apply a clear wood lacquer. This also makes the details of the beautiful white oak more visible.

The pre-drilled rails are fitted with 6 stainless steel screws. Copper screws don’t rust either, if you like them better.

The aluminum door has a pre-drilled hole for attaching the ChickenGuard rope and is designed to run smoothly in the rails to prevent the door from snagging.
